Action Needed

“The battle for the judiciary holds in balance the outcome of the current culture war raging in America.”  Judge Charles Pickering

President Obama has nominated Michelle Taryn Friedland to the Ninth Circuit Court.  Next week the Senate Judiciary Committee will begin hearings on her confirmation.  Friedland should be opposed due to her radical views on Constitutional authority.  Contact both Senator Pat Toomey and Senator Bob Casey to register your concern.

“[The] constitution only creates rights to the extent a judiciary…says it does…”
 Ninth Circuit Nominee Michelle Friedland

Freedom of Religion

Our founders intended for Americans to have freedom to practice their religious beliefs without government intervention, but these day the practice of religion is being redefined by law, policy, and practice of an overreaching federal government.  The Affordable Care Act is one law that has brought this conflict into view of the American people as many non-profits and privately held corporations challenge Obamacare mandates that require people of faith to act against their deeply held beliefs.

This morning at 10 am the case of Conestoga v. Sebelius is being argued in the Supreme Court.  This case has far-reaching implications and it is imperative that SCOTUS comes to a Constitutionally sound decision.  To understand the details of this case click here.
