First GOP Women to Serve on US Senate Judiciary Committee

 

US Senators Marsha Blackburn (TN) and Joni Ernst (IA) are reported to be new additions to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Pro-life women’s groups are hailing the appointments.  Blackburn, newly elected to the Senate after spending 16 years in the US House, is a fierce advocate for life.  Ernst, considered one of the most conservative senators, introduced legislation to defund Planned Parenthood.
