March is Reading Awareness Month

Did you know that Republican Women all across the country encourage the development of reading skills as the precursor to children securing good educations and chasing big dreams?

Motivated by the literacy programs of NFRW, each year our council reaches out within the SUN area to provide books to at-risk children.  Some of our recent projects include providing for a reading nook in a community non-profit agency, donating books to a Title I elementary school, and donating books to the public libraries in all three of our counties.

SUNACRW  believes reading and writing is fundamental to success.
