Crisis Pregnancy Support

SUN Area Council of Republican Women is an unabashedly pro-life group committed to protecting life from conception until natural death.  We are pleased to support and proclaim the work being done in our area by several organizations including Expectations in Lewisburg, and Corner of Hope Family Resources Center in Shamokin.

Corner of Hope, Shamokin

Corner of Hope, located at 150 S. Market Street, Shamokin provides a wide range of services to individuals and families experiencing pregnancy, including testing, parenting resources, and a Learn-to-Earn program.

SUNACRW encourages all Republican women to partner with us or directly with the Corner of Hope to support life and positive life choices.  There is a continual need for volunteers, financial support and practical donations.  You are welcome to join us and see the work being done in lower Northumberland County.

The Shamokin center has also been a recipient of preschool books through our literacy efforts.

Expectations Women’s Center, Lewisburg

Our members individually support Expectation’s Women’s Center in Lewisburg with donations of items and money.  In addition, we collect items during our annual Baby Shower for Expectations.
